Lorraine Harden-O’Brien was born and raised in Manchester, England where she first took an entry level position as a secretary to an articled clerk in 1973. Ms. Harden-O’Brien was quickly promoted to the position as secretary to the solicitor–owner of the firm. It was at this time she applied for a visa to work in the United States and moved to London to facilitate the process. While in London she worked for the NAAFI and then in the Legal Department of the Office of Fair Trading. When the “green card” was granted, she flew to Chicago, Illinois where she was put to work as a secretary for attorneys specializing in federal underground construction litigation. As the office blossomed into a mid-size law firm, she took over the administrative and bookkeeping tasks full-time.
In 1978 Ms. Harden-O’Brien moved to California where she has continued to perform administrative and paralegal tasks for solo and small law firms. Ms. Harden-O’Brien brings over forty years of legal experience to the firm and is a paralegal certified under Business & Professions Code section 6450 and a California Notary Public primarily assisting Marla Merhab Robinson, President and head of the firm’s Transactional Department.
Ms. Harden-O’Brien is also the Office Administrator and is an associate member of the solo and small business section of the Orange County Bar Association and a member of Vistage Key Group 9074.
